I ditched Facebook right before the holidays.  I should have done it sooner.  I was frustrated with my aspects of FB.  Maybe FB actually works for some, but for me, all my meaningful relationships and connections have carried a depth and value which transcend the face value afforded by big blue.  I watched a tool with early potential to connect people evolve into a hub of competitive branding, exploitation & anti-social chaos that amplified the worst attributes of good people.

Those of you who I’ve actually connected with outside of social media at any point in life are the most genuine, innovative & thought-provoking individuals I’ve ever known, even when I’ve disagreed with you.  I’m deeply honored to call you my friends.
